As i was directed to this part i'll post in here.

As i may have mentioned when trying to submit the forum: http:
//forum.showbizspy.com into PostFusion i got this error:

Submission Error
Could not connect to the specified pickup script. Please validate the url entered and that it is installed correctly!
I downloaded the files and sent them onto the main admin by pm as he has access to the server, then tried submitting the forum but it only gave that error.

I'm sorry, but as i've never done anything like this before, how to do mean by 'contents' of the pf_config.php file?

ok. looking at everything you have said and given me it should be working. Can you please redownload and have them re-upload the files in ascii mode. Then see if it works. There is no reason this should be returning the response I'm getting. Make absolutely certain that who ever is uploading the files are using the files you are providing and not getting a copy of their own.
