Question Think my "received posts" total is off... way off

I currently have four forums in the PostFusion system, and probably they're a bit specialized so not every PF member would be interested in posting. On the "My Forums" page, it shows that two of my forums have each received 27 posts, and the other two 0, and yet the total received listed at the bottom of the page is 424. I'm quite sure I've never received that many posts from the PF system, I would have noticed such a deluge. I haven't gone and tallied up everyone's posts on my forums, but 54 is probably about right. (I have deleted a few for being nothing more than advertising, but definitely not 300 +!) When I look at my "Subscribed Forums" page and add up the posts I've made, it comes to 170, and today my ranking is at -37.

Before I freak out about whatever algorithm you're using to weight the posts, could someone please check that there's nothing wrong with my account? It looks to me like posts to my forums might be getting counted more than once. Larry had to make a custom pickup script for one of my forums that inexplicably didn't want to work with the system, could that be throwing things off somehow? Two are vB and two are phpBB, is that a problem? And I only read today that you only need to download a pickup script for a particular type of board once whereas each time I added a board I downloaded a new one.

Please let me know what's going on here. Thanks.

It looks to me that as of right now you've made 177 posts and received 54...I don't know much regarding the technical side of PF, so Larry will have to look into it...but you're probably right in thinking that the numbers are off

Ok. The issue is that that is displaying the posts received with all the multipliers calculated in. I will have to come up with a solution, but there is nothing wrong with that number other than the fact that it is really incomprehensible.

So my relatively low ranking that day is a function of the post-weighting algorithm and not an error?

That would be correct. The number you were seeing is a result of the posts received in the mentioned time periods and their multipliers.
