New Delete/Subscribe Process

A certain issue has been brought up...and the more we thought about it, the more we realized that it is something that just isn't quite right with PostFusion.

Before now, when a user were to delete his/her site from PostFusion, all current subscribers would remain subscribed, but would not receive credit for posts made. *BUT* when the owner of those forums decided to add his forums once again, all posts made after it was originally deleted would suddenly be counted.

From here on out, when somebody removes their forums from PostFusion, all subscribers are immediately removed. If the forums are later added, these subscribers are free to subscribe once again. Logically, this is how things should work, so hopefully you'll find it more efficient from here on out.

Also, we need to remind you once again to keep a constant eye on your Subscribed Sites list. Just because you subscribed to a site today does not mean that you will earn credit tomorrow...You will need to confirm that it still exists.

Are there any plans to have the system send an e-mail to the member that is subscribed to a site that is removed from PF? Based on your example, if I'm posting on a site today and getting credit but I don't get credit tomorrow, the only way for me to know is if I keep checking Subscribed Sites. That isn't a problem but it might be helpful to receive an e-mail or PM about the site being removed. Maybe for future versions of PostFusion.

Yep, definitely...that is something we will implement in a future release, it's just a matter of packaging all of these bigger features into one (or two) bigger releases.
