The structure is confusing and probably not what one would expect it to be - something that needs to be rewritten...As Larry said, we thought about this long and hard last night...going through many different scenarios, but couldn't come up with anything - we had a lot of great ideas, but nothing that could be done very easily with the current code and database structure.

| There is one problem with this as Ryan eluded to. I don't always check my Subscribed List as I know the URL's of the sites I am a part of. So I'll just go there and post away thinking my posts are counting. It wouldn't be good for me to then find out that none of those posts counted. Since there is no automatic resubscribe feature yet, then the floor cap should be around -50. That'll be an incentive for forum owners not to get there so they don't lose their subscribed members. I think -25 is too easy to get to personally.

I believe it was Seraph, the guy with the adult forums, who was easily in the 900's, there was no way he was going to get off the top of the list. The way I see the new system is that it'll keep a steady rotation of sites near the top, so that you can pop onto pf and say, 'wow, that's a site I haven't seen lately!'The only thing I think should be changed, like others have suggested, is that the floor should be dropped to -50 or so, -25 seems way to high. | ||||
