Good afternoon, class.
Today I will teach you install mods or skins in SMF.

It is a lot easier than it is with phpBB:

FOR MODS:
Go to Admin -> Package Manager
Upload the file that you downloaded, and you have installed the mod. Most of the file extentions are .tar.gz, some of them might be .zip.

FOR SKINS:
Go to Admin -> Manage Themes or Layouts or something like that.
Then, upload the zip file you want, to upload the skin.


This is my first, and simple tutorial on installing mods and skins. Easier than you thought, isn't it? SMF is really effortless.
