| [How-To] Optimize vBulletin To Reduce Your Server Load This one is the most updated. I forgot it was in here too. The most notable thing in 3.7 is the ability to offload some of the YUI javscript files to Yahoos servers. I think this is in the Server Optimizations area of the vBulletin Options. Lafsunlmtd, I run a Dell Poweredge 1600SC. Dual Xenon 2.4ghz, 3GB of ram, (2) 10k rpm hd's Raid 1. The rest of the software specs are in my signature. I use Keep Alive with a 2 second timeout. MySQL has the basic optimizations that were recommended by vBulletin.com |
