One of the flaws of PF, i find alot of the time, people dont post back to the same user. In the end i gave up, though a soon as i did, i got loads of posts, and im badly in the red, as you can see.

You kind of need to bring your balance up to 100 or so. Ideally close to or more than 200. Then, you'll finally start receiving posts.

Actually I think the problem is the number of users. Sometimes it can be hard to find people for a certain niche. How many people information about home brewing for example? Or how about a females only forum when you are a male? Now there is nothing wrong with this, but I think some people may feel like they may get in trouble for signing up and posting only in a general topic area as they may not have the knowledge to post outside of the area. Some admins may not care if most posts are in general off topic, while others may not be looking for it. Maybe perhaps if there was a way for admins to mark that off topic posts only are ok.

There needs to be some sort of Search feature. The PF applicants could enter keywords relative to their website and then people could search using said keywords.

It wasn't too bad before with all the sites listed on a single page, but now we've gotta weed through double-digits worth of pages.

Either way, I'm in the same boat as you are Super.

Everybody remember that the goal of PF is to reward those who have put the most into it, which means posting at the forums with the highest balance. Placing focus on the subject of a forum instead of its balance and how much the owner has put into PF defeats the purpose of PostFusion.

We do plan on adding a search and categorizing feature later on, but this is very low on our priority list since it works against the basic principles of PostFusion.

There are 25 forums listed on the first page of PF...surely you can find a few forums from a list of 25 that you are interested in. If you cannot, one click sends you to 25 more forums, which should hardly be of any inconvenience.

Just an idea ...

General Chat flag: The flag indicates that the forum admin allows you to post in General Chat forum only.

Purpose: PF members appear to avoid forums that they cannot relate to, but it seems like that some forum admins would like to have members even if they only post in General Chat. The flag notifies this to PF members ...

If PF members are expected to make worthwhile posts, shouldn't they be made on a forum whose subject-matter they're familiar with? I only post on 1 site in particular, and it may not have the highest rank in PostFusion, but it's one of the best sites I've seen in the PF Database in regard to Graphics Design and Website Coding.

Is it the same person who posts back on your board though?
