I know that a user balance is made by : 0 - posts made in your forum + posts made by you in other forums

how is a forum's balance calculated?

I believe in all places concerned the forum balance is listed as the same as the user balance. Unless you are talking on the "My Forums" page.

Well, it's just that I was unsubscribed from a forum because it's forum balance had got to low and I wanted to know how that happens

it is automatic. It is a protection for that forum, so that it doesn't continue going negative when ppl should be posting @ the higher pointed forums.

oh, yeah. When you post you get a credit. When someone posts in your forum you have one taken away. Thus if ppl are posting more in ur forum than you are in others you end up negative.
