How Many Forums Can PF Support

How many forums can the script handle at one time? Is there a limit (like how many is it built for)? How many MAX did the old script ever hold at one single time? I was reading rizzo's post discussing the "At A Glance" totals and that's why I'm asking. (meow)

There is no limit. We have to run a balancing act though when the number increases. During the check there is a timeout that each forum is given before we move to the next. So we have to watch the amount of time the post count check takes to make sure that it doesn't start to overlap. Fortunately we have greatly reduced the amount of time it takes to update one site by doing it in one call, so that should help us keep the update frequency time down. As the process takes longer we have to move the time up which is why we jumped to 10 minutes earlier this year.
