Multiple Board Dilemmas

I have noticed that if users have multiple boards, their board moves up and down together regardless of what forum the user posted on. I realize it's a catch-22 situation because the user name their subscribed to has to be the same.

I'm sure this has been talked about in other threads but just wanted to bring it out by itself. Is it something that you are working on for a future release? Have any good ideas been thought up that would eliminate this idea and let each individual board move up and down independently?

It's been mentioned before, and to be able to do something like this would require a HUGE rewrite, and that's just not in any of our best interests to be quite honest with you

I've mentioned this before - it'd be great to have a way to give individual boards priority. however, I can see how it really isn't practical. Perhaps in the future.

That's cool. I just thought I'd mention it. Believe me, I understand about large rewrites of code to effect something that's not so large in the big view of things.

Can I ask... right now if you have multiple boards, are you required to download two sets of files for each board separately?

No, the same set of files will work for an unlimited number of forums...providing they are the same type and version of software, of course.

i have a question / though about the multi board setup, dunno if it's an easy thing or not, but would it be possible, if you have more then one board yourself, when you signup to somebody elses, would it be possible to assign the posts to one of your indivual boards instead of a "total" counter ?, ie if i signed up Mr x's board, i could assign the posts to my board1, if i signed up to Mr y's board, i could assign the posts to my Board2 ?

What about a drop-down? So if a user has multiple forums listed on Postfusion it creates a drop-down menu? "View all users forums".

I don't see how that would benefit the system...You shouldn't be looking at forums on a per-user basis, you should be looking at each forum individually, regardless of who owns it...I also don't see what that question has to do with this thread.
